Software Tester 2009
Software Tester - £25k-30k dependant on experience
Responsibilities may include:
- Manual and Automated testing of the Client/Server applications.
- Functional testing, Regression testing, Performance testing and UAT.
- Experienced in use of automation tools.
- MS office tools – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Express.
- Preparing Test Plans.
- Creating Test Scenarios and writing Test Cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
- Documentation and Reporting of Software Testing and QA activities.
- Good knowledge of structured software testing methodologies and good understanding of soft-ware testing principles.
- Working experience of testing in Agile and Waterfall methodologies in Software Development Cycle.
Skills may include:
- ISEB Certified Software Tester.
- Knowledge of development languages such as Java, ASP, VB.Net.
- Experience in Automated testing tools such as Win runner, QTP, Test Director, Load Runner, etc.
- Knowledge of MS operating systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and an analytical mind.
- Adaptive.
- Tenacious.
- Proactive.
