Project Manager 2008
Experienced Project Manager - circa £40-£45k + bonus
Senior Project Manager to be responsible for the successful management and delivery of multiple, complex, or large-scale software implementation projects.
Responsibilities may include:
- Day-to-day operational and tactical management of multiple, large-scale projects.
- Project Managing and coordinating the implementation of software to a new customers through the full lifecycle.
- Create, develop and nurture lasting relationships with customers.
- Work to project management best practices to ensure delivery of projects including on time, within budget and to quality standards.
- Produce project reports.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
- Effectively manage, escalate, and resolve issues and risks during project lifecycle.
- Occasional international travel.
Skills may include:
- Experience in software implementation project management.
- Be able to manage several projects concurrently.
- A proven track record of delivery.
- A good understanding of software development processes & techniques.
- Able to operate effectively under pressure.
- A working knowledge of Project Risk Analysis and Project Management techniques.
- Knowledge of a Project Management methodology such as Prince 2.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- An individual with the confidence and competence to be able to establish credibility with clients and internal teams.
- Methodical and focused approach to achieving tasks and objectives.
- Entrepreneurial and pro-active – innovative thinking and well-organised.
- Good strategic appreciation and vision, able to build, execute and implement sophisticated plans.
