MI Analyst – MI, databases, excel, reports - Cardiff
My Client has a requirement for an MI Analyst to join their Cardiff-based team. The role involves updating system data and management information for the support and development teams, both on a regular basis and for ad hoc requests, and ensuring tasks are allocated to the development team in a timely and effective manner.
****This is initially an administrative role, but with the opportunity to up skill into Crystal Reports and more involved database work. Would suit a graduate looking to get into this area, or someone with good data management skills looking for a broader range of database knowledge****
Skills should include:
Investigative mind, good problem solving abilities
Logical/lateral thinker, able to recognise patterns
Attention to detail, quick & accurate in the production of reports, both written and numeric
Interest in software applications and IT systems
Technical knowledge should include:
Understanding of databases
Able to use Excel
Knowledge of other Microsoft applications (word & powerpoint)
Awareness of different software applications
Be aware of different file formats – (CSV & text) be prepared to learn about new ones as and when needed
