Business Analyst 2009
Responsible for analysing a business, requirements gathering, identifying solutions and putting together proposals for how those can be achieved.
Responsibilities may include:
- Analyse business and IT requirements, Change Requests and Incidents.
- Gather and document business requirements so that improvements and added functionality could be made following cost-benefit analysis.
- Define and document required solutions.
- Review and maintain project documentation.
- Create Business Process and User Guides.
- Conduct client business process reviews.
- Focus on service and quality delivery.
- Document regular process, strategy and service improvements.
- Work within the ITIL framework.
- Provide information and assistance for RFI’s, RFP’s and pre-sales demonstrations when required.
Skills may include:
- Ability to analyse, document and find solutions to IT and business requirements.
- Excellent knowledge of client business processes.
- An excellent understanding and working knowledge of the full project and software development lifecycle.
- Data Modelling OO Analysis and Design with UML, Rose/ReqPro ClearCase, Clearquest.
- Process Modelling (Physical/Logical/Required).
- Structured Methods (SSADM).
- An excellent communicator to both the internal and external customer including client-facing roles.
- ITIL V3 Service Management Foundation qualified.
- Proactive and results orientated.
